Job Title: Business Change Senior Associate

Role Overview
The Change Directorate plays a central role in supporting the FCA’s ambition to be a data‑led regulator, enabling effective regulation of some of the UK’s most complex financial markets.
Within the Change Directorate, the three Departmental Change Teams (DCTs) work in close partnership with business areas to deliver change across technology, regulation, process and ways of working. Teams bring together key change disciplines including business change, project management and business analysis.
We are looking for an experienced Business Change lead to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of change. The role focuses on the people side of change, ensuring that business, operational and behavioural impacts are understood, managed and embedded successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse stakeholder groups and lead effective stakeholder engagement to support project and programme delivery.
- Develop clear and proportionate change impact assessments, securing a shared understanding of impacts across impacted teams, delivery colleagues and sponsoring business areas.
- Design and deliver appropriate change interventions to manage impacts, including:
- change and engagement approaches
- communications and engagement materials
- training needs analysis and readiness activity
- go‑live and transition planning to BAU
- Work closely with project and programme teams to ensure change activity is aligned with the FCA’s Project Delivery Framework and contributes to a joined‑up experience for colleagues.
- Actively contribute to the Business Change community of practice, supporting the development and continuous improvement of standards, methodologies and deliverables.
