Your New Role:

In this role, you will be helping building out our Digital Delivery Hub in Leeds. You will become a key member of an agile squad, responsible for the development of code and tests, contributing to the delivery of the Product defined by the Product Owner which must comply with architectural and quality standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the development within the team on engineering activities
• Mentoring and coaching junior members of staff to enhance and improve the team’s capability
• Take ownership of incident/support issues and remediation of Defects Delivery of Development Artefacts against Procut Requirements
• Lead specific work to implement wider principles to inform and establish a community of practice
• Feed engineering insight and experience into the wider Strategy and Architecture team to improve engineering across the whole organisation
• Contribute to a culture of effective development with an Agile Approach of continuous improvement

• You will be working 5 days across 35 hours per week.
• Hybrid working policy (40% office based per week)

What we’re looking for?

• Technical experience in one or more of the following: Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, AWS
• Experience in managing/mentoring teams, combined with strong stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and best practices
• Graduate level (or equivalent) education in Computing, Computer Science or equivalent subject
